April 28, 2021 – The Veteran Owned Business Roundtable (VOBRT) today announced full support for the new order from Congress to adopt a singular VA process for certifying service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses (SDVOSB). The Congressional act eliminates the once accepted Small Business Administration’s (SBA) self-certification process.
Board appointment of Tom Lake, Senior Vice President of Purchasing at Honda of America Mfg., Inc. Lake will assume the role of President for the Corporate Advisory Board.
Partnership strengthens FCA US engagement with veteran owned businesses by creating more procurement and learning and development opportunities.
The celebration continues as the Veteran Owned Business Round Table (VOBRT) displays its two-time salute to achievements in Diversity and Inclusion within its organization and greater community.
The VOBRT supports the Vets First Verification Program. The program offers Verified firms owned and controlled by Veterans and Service-disabled Veterans the opportunity to compete for set asides by the Veteran Administration and other government agencies.
