The Washington Department of Veteran Affairs maintains a Veteran Owned Business Registry (since 2007) and is required to create a logo and distribute a decal to businesses within the registry so individuals and families can see a business is Veteran-Owned.

 Washington also has a Linked Deposit Program. This Program improves access to capital for verified VOBS by decreasing interest rates on small business loans by up to 2%. Senate Bill 5041 requires the state to reach out to Veteran and service-member owned businesses to make them aware of opportunities to compete for state contracts.
