(VOSB).<\/p>\n<p>Here are several online resources you can utilize for your small business:<\/p>\n<p><b>Department of Veteran\u2019s Affairs: <\/b>The VA has several resources listed to assist you with your Veteran owned Business.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.va.gov\/osdbu\/veteran\/vepStartingBusiness.asp\">Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization<\/a> (OSDBU). OSDBU is the VA\u2019s center for small businesses. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.va.gov\/osdbu\/veteran\/\">Veteran information<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.va.gov\/osdbu\/veteran\/vep.asp\">Veteran Entrepreneur Portal<\/a>: This page has a number of resources for Veteran business owners, including guides on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.va.gov\/osdbu\/library\/dbwva.asp\">how to do business with the VA<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.va.gov\/osdbu\/veteran\/vepFranchising.asp\">Franchising information<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.va.gov\/osdbu\/veteran\/vepStartingBusiness.asp\">How to Open a Veteran Owned Small Business<\/a> This page, off the Veteran Entrepreneur Portal, gives step-by-step advice on how to open a business and verify it as \u201cVeteran Owned\u201d to get VA contracts.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.vip.vetbiz.gov\/\">Vetbiz.gov<\/a>: This is a directory of Veteran Owned businesses maintained by the VA. Businesses in this directory have been certified as Veteran-owned for purposes of doing business with the VA.<\/p>\n<p><b>Small Business Administration<\/b>: The Small Business Administration has many resources available to assist you with opening and running your business.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sba.gov\/sdvosb\">Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business<\/a> SBA information about SDVOSBs, the Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Concern Procurement Program, and the SDVO Business Control.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sba.gov\/content\/veteran-service-disabled-veteran-owned\">Veteran Owned Businesses <\/a>Information on Veteran Owned Businesses.<\/p>\n<p><b>Internal Revenue Service <\/b><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.irs.gov\/Businesses\/Small-Businesses-&amp;-Self-Employed\">Small Business Tax<\/a> A guideline on taxes for small businesses.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.irs.gov\/Businesses\/Small-Businesses-&amp;-Self-Employed\/Business-Structures\">Business Frameworks<\/a> A framework, which describes who owns your business, is a necessary part of your business plan. Annual membership includes subscription to Vetrepreneur magazine.<\/p>\n<p><b><a href=\"http:\/\/www.asbdc-us.org\/\">America\u2019s Small Business Development Center Network<\/a> <\/b>(ASBDC) is a nationwide assistance network for United States small businesses. It is funded in part by the SBA, and is hosted by universities, colleges, and state economic development agencies.
